Three Phase Induction Motor Connection

Three-phase induction motors are widely used in industrial because they are rugged, reliable and economical. Induction motors do not require a any starting device, also it’s rotation direction can be changed easily. The direction of rotation can be reversed by interchanging any two of the three conductors connected to motor.

In Industry, we must know three phase induction motor controlling, for this at first we need to know the connection of induction motor. There are two types connection of the induction motor.
These are:
1. Star Connection (Tolerate comparatively high current)
2. Delta Connection
