The oil trap well must have dimensions of width equal to those of the transformer more times the height of the tank of the same. The conservative tank of the transformer must be included inside the oil trap. The depth of the well will be such that a volume equal to the oil volume of the transformer can be obtained. At the bottom of the well will have a duct that joins it with an auxiliary chamber that serves as a trap. This auxiliary chamber communicates at a suitable level with the rainwater system. During construction, appropriate slopes should be provided to the rainwater drainage pipe. Turn the internal walls of the auxiliary chamber well must be constructed in concrete with waterproofing additives. The trap must be covered over its entire surface with a galvanized grid so that a layer of gravel of cm with a grain size of mm can be placed on top of it.
