Club Deportivo Guadalajara; or better known Guadalajara Chivas of Guadalajara is a professional football club from the First Division based in Guadalajara Mexico; Jalisco; Mexico. It was officially founded on May 8, 1906 by the merchant and Belgian sales agent; Edgar Everaert; in 1906; same year he began his footballing activity; entering 1908 in the Sports Federation Western Amateur; participating in the League of the West; where he was able to harvest thirteen titles becoming the team that won the tournament more times. In 1943 with the professionalization of Mexican soccer joined the then Major League; in which he won his first title on January 3, 1957 years. The Jalisco Stadium hosted the home matches of the team; be so from 1960 to 2010 In 2010 the club changed to their new home stadium; the Omnilife Stadium with capacity for 49,850 espectadores.1
