Selective Pallet Racking System
Selective Pallet Racking is a storage system designed for storing pallets in a warehouse. It consists of upright frames and horizontal beams that form a series of levels or bays. Each bay is designed to hold a specific number of pallets, and the pallets are easily accessible from the front or aisle side. This type of rack provides high-density storage and easy access to individual pallets, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including manufacturing, distribution, and retail operations.
Drive-In Racking System is a high-density storage system that allows pallets to be stored several pallets deep and several pallets high. It consists of vertical rails, horizontal beams, and supports that create bays for storing pallets. Pallets are loaded from one side of the rack and retrieved from the other side, with lift trucks driving into the bays to access the pallets. This type of rack is ideal for storing large quantities of similar products, as it maximizes storage space and reduces the need for aisles. However, it is not as efficient for operations that require frequent access to individual pallets.
